Promises from God to us

There are many promises mentioned in all of the Bible but I particularly like what is written in Revelation 21:3-7. There are 18 promises given to each and every Christian and I will make this known to all of you.

I have been “off the air” for nearly four years and in that time I have come closer to God than I ever have been before. Yes, I am financially inadequate (not a millionaire) and I am flat broke (but getting better thanks to my Saviour) but that’s OK really. When I had lots of money available in the past I wasn’t all that close to God because I had “other things to do” and because of that, I lost my entire family…not truly my fault you understand but I was the head of the family.

What happened was the Church of Laodecia reared its ugly head and I was tossed aside like wheat and tares and was given no explanation except I had a “dumb Dad”, so they told me, and they wanted him out as well…they had other things to do. But, that’s for another day and time.

So, here are the promises of God as written in His Word and His Word is in the King James Bible. No other “bible” out there says these things, really.

And I heard a great voice out of the Heavens saying, Behold,

01) The tabernacle of God is with men

02) He will dwell with them

03) And they shall be His people

04) And God Himself shall be with them

05) And be their God

06) And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes

07) And there shall be no more death

08) Neither sorrow

09) Nor crying

10) Neither shall there be any more pain

11) For the former things are passed away and he that sat upon the throne said, Behold

12) I make all things new and He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And He said unto me

13) It is done

14) I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end

15) I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely

16) He that overcometh shall inherit all things

17) And I will be his God

18) And he shall be my son

Amazing, isn’t it? It really doesn’t matter how life works out for us all. It doesn’t matter how rich or poor we are. As long as we have gifts from the Father, everything will be OK.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

My God richly bless you that overcome the firely darts of the devil.
